My paintings are typically large, acrylic, abstracts which have landscape and, and at times, portrait elements.
I studied art at San Francisco State College during the Bay Area Abstractionist Movement. I am a colorists who is inspired by the works of my contemporaries William De Kooning, Gerhard Richter, Nathan Olivera, Richard Diebenkorn and David Park.
My paintings are bold and rhythmical. I often danced with a long handled brush to create the brushstrokes evoking flow and movement.
As a previous owner of the Edgewater Gallery in Ft. Bragg, CA, I have sold many paintings to collectors around the world.
